New Nevegals

Its the time of year when the trails are getting a bit slick and I notice just how bald my tires are getting.  I have been using he Kenda Nevegal 2.1 tires for 3-4 years now and they are fantastic in our East Coast conditions. They more than make up for my sub par bike handling skills.

These tires rock. I am still running tubes in my tires but  I can run ~35 pounds and never pinch flat in these.

The tires have a really aggressive tread that hooks up on roots and rocks, but still rolls pretty fast.

Although I had a funny incident trying to buy these from local shops, one shop put me on hold and left me there forever and then hung up. The next shop told me that nobody rides 26″ wheels anymore so they don’t stock them. But Dirty Harry’s had them, and tons of other gear. I think I found my new LBS.  They have a pretty sweet looking Redline 1×9 too… That is kinda calling my name.
