On a recent bikepacking trip my friend Levi pulled out this amazing collapsable filter bottle from Katadyn. Seconds later he was sipping water from a stream. I had to get one. I always hem and haw over bringing my filter with me on a trip if I don’t think I will run into water. With the Katadyn being so small there is no reason not to bring it. It works incredibly easily, you dip the bottle in the water source, screw the filter top in and drink. So simple and small.

Seriously on this hike I did not bring enough water, I drank 3 bottles at that stream, it was icy cold and amazing. This little bottle is a game changer. I’ll bring it on every hike or long ride from now on.
