Review: Knog Frog Lights

You know how it goes down, your buddy asks you to go riding after work. but their version of coming “right over” after work is showing up at 7:30 at night. So you aren’t going for a night ride, but when you finish up its a little darker than you would like. That’s where these lights come in really handy.

I have had a set of these lights for a year now. I am really impressed with them. They are great for use on your road or cross bike. The bikes where you may not want to have full time set of lights on it, or just to leave in your camelback for those epic rides, the ones where you bail out of the woods and end up riding the road back to the car as the sun sets and the rain starts.

The interesting feature of the knog lights are there flexible rubber casing, which is used as a clamp to hold them on the bike. They would probably fall off on a serious mtn bike ride, but they’d be fine for commuting/cross riding.

The lights come in a set of two, white and red led models. They have two settings blinking and on, on doesn’t make much sense. But the blinking mode grabs attention.

REI has them for $19 and Pricepoint has them on sale for $16.

Knog site, which has a nice Lily Allen remix playing and a scantily clad euro girl…
