Bike bag

Review: Oveja Negra Bodega Frame Bag

In the colder months swapping out your bottle cages for storage is a great use of the front triangle of your bike. During summer bike packing I use that space for bottles, but for winter trips you have to carry so many more layers, use your front triangle for that with the Oveja Negra Bodega Frame bag.

Like all Oveja gear it attaches with Velcro and is infinitely adjustable. The non drive side has a thin pocket that fits maps, snacks, and bandana sized objects.

The drive side is a large main pocket which is great for your puffy coats, pants gloves, etc. I do wonder why it doesn’t have a pull tab on the bottom of the zipper, but that is the only complaint I have.

Oveja Negra makes all of their bags in Salida Colorado and I’ve used all of my Oveja gear for years without a single issue. They are very affordable priced and the highest quality. Plus the colors are great.

Inheriting its name from the corner store, our Bodega full frame bags are the junk drawer for all of your bikepacking essentials and can fit provisions for an all day, overnight, or month long ride.  Stash burritos, beverages, bags of ramen, and anything else you find fit to carry in our highest volume frame bag.
