Review: Atmosphere Mountainworks Pogies

These are the best bang for the buck in pogies bar none. Seriously these are crazy warm for the money, even taking that out of the equation they are 90% as warm as my Dogwood Designs Pogies Plus with so much less bulk and a wider temperature range.  Did I mention they are handmade in Wyoming and cost $37?

They attach with a simple velcro strap that fits over any mountain bike bar.  They even fit with bags on for bikepacking.

They are lined with medium weight fleece and the outer is cordura.

These are really great and I can’t believe I don’t hear everyone talking about them. The only improvement would be a little elastic band on the grip end to keep them in place like on the Dogwoods. But still they are great and you need a pair.

Our Pogies, or bar mitts, are a simple way to make riding your bike in cold weather more fun.  The nylon outer shell is lined with a mid-weight fleece for an added layer of protection and warmth, and slides over your handlebars and onto your arms for more seamless coziness.  They have a lightweight design with a basic hook and loop attachment for your handlebars.
