I have automatic crampons for my Scarpa Mont Blanc Pro GTX boots, but in the spring and summer I use my Scarpa Zodiac Tech GTX boot and I had these CAMP Stalker Universal crampons in my gear stash and use them in the warmer months.
I have to say Semi Auto crampons are easier, but really not that much. These are light, durable and fit a variety of boots. These would be great to have around in summer glacier travel and if you want to bring a friend on steep snow for the first time.
On these boots they are a little tight in the toe area so you ride on the hinges instead of in the crampon fully. But these are bigger boots. These fit fine on regular hiking boots.
You can buy these basically everywhere and online for low prices all the time: https://www.camp-usa.com/outdoor/product/crampons/stalker-universal-crampons/
