Review: 45Nrth Bergraven Insulated Gaiters

The one continuing problem with fat biking for me is keeping my feet warm. I ride flats because to me it makes the most sense in the winter. I have tried a few different insulated boots with mediocre results. The best boot ever is the Baffin Shackleton boots, but they are a pretty big boot which is not needed for a typical fat bike ride. If you want to clip in there are some amazing glue on permanent shoe covers from 40 Below.  So what to do  if you want to extend the temperature of a regular boot? I saw these gaiters on sale during the summer and they add some much needed extra warmth to your boots for fat biking.

The 45Nrth Bergraven is an insulated gaiter which adds noticeable warmth to your calves and feet while pedaling.

The top has a quick release closure with easy adjustment with gloves on.

The bottom is adjustable with a QR lock. For the price you can’t beat this warm insulated gaiters.
