Review: Rab Latok Gloves

This has been a weird winter here in Colorado. We go from really cold temps to really mild temps in a matter of days. I picked up a pair of Rab Latok gloves for fat biking and snow shoeing. The Latok is made from Event to keep your hands dry. Which if you fall in soft slushy snow as much as I do, it is definitely a bonus.

The palms are goat leather, which can hold up to the abuses of fat biking or slogging with an ice axe.

They are what I would call “semi gauntlet”. They go up the wrist a few inches to keep snow out and warmth in without being over the top.  Also as you would assume a cord lock closure.

The gauntlet is insulated, but not too much, and only goes up a few inches. Perfect for the in between days.

These are perfect for those 25-45°F degree days. They are really warm and fit me perfectly. They are not so puffy you lose dexterity, just enough to keep you warm. I say pick up a pair!

The Latok Glove is a light-weight, breathable and fully waterproof eVent® glove, designed for mountain use in wet conditions.
The Latok Glove features Matrix DWS™ areas and box finger pre-curved construction for added comfort and durability when in the mountains. The fully waterproof eVent® membrane will keep rain and snow at bay whilst a goat leather palm increases grip and dexterity in wet conditions.
