Review: Hestra Basic Mitt

As you know I am a fan of Hestra mitts. I have been wearing the Hestra Army Leather Heli Ski Mitts for a while and really like them.  But I wanted a mitten for wearing on slightly warmer (yet still incredibly cold) days or while slogging up hill. And this incredibly warm fleece mitten is perfect for that.

The Hestra Basic Mitt has a goat leather palm which keeps the glove from wearing out, keeps your hands warmer and also key in a fleece mitt; gives it shape. The leather tab on the cuff makes it easy to pull on and off.

The mitt has a velcro wrist closure is wrapped in leather.

The outside of the mitt is super soft fleece. And the inside is also soft fleece.

I have had warm hands in these above 25°F with warm hands. These things are so nice. Pair them with a glove cover and you’d be good down in to the teens. I have never had a warmer mitten for only $44. Pick them up.
