Review: Mountain Khaki’s SUP Board shorts

As you may know, I like to buy gear that I can use for more than one sport. Have you ever tried to wear cycling specific clothes doing anything other than riding? With that in mind I have been buying Mountain Khaki’s gear for years. Well built and sharp looking too.  I recently picked up their SUP Board Shorts and they have been in heavy rotation since.

The MK SUP Board Shorts are ultra light weight, the lightest board shorts I have ever owned. The light weight makes them great in hot weather or in the water. I have been wearing these mountain biking, hiking and at the beach.

Having been designed for the water they are great in the mountains when afternoon showers roll in out of nowhere.  That light weight material does not make them any less durable. I have gone on some nasty rides crashing through underbrush with these, looking no worse for wear.

The shorts have a velcro fly and the classic board short tie waist band. I have been wearing these on my mountain bike a lot lately and they are great. The shorts are not too long which is a big plus for riding technical trails.
