The fat bike has approximately 30,000 mount points on it’s fork, so why not mount my light on one? Paul Component Engineering makes an adapter just for this scenario, the Gino Light mount.
The Gino provides plenty of space to mount even larger lights on your braze ons.
It is a machined aluminum tube that your handlebar mount screw on to. I tried it with my heaviest light, the Lezyne Mega Drive (which is a great light). Thinking it would move or slip in some way. Nope.
I’m converted, I like it so much I ordered a second to use both of my 500 lumen Lezyne SuperDrive lights. Two lights you ask? Well because with the size of the fat bike tire you cast a shadow from the wheel. Two lights are pretty awesome to ride with.
American made by Paul Component Engineering, don’t hesitate to pick one up for fork mounting your light.

The Gino Light Mount can be used to mount lights to any M5 threaded eyelet, rackmount, or braze on. By mounting a light at mid-fork or dropout eyelets, it casts light on the ground at a much shallower angle, better revealing contours and bumps in the road.
