Review: Patagonia R1 Pullover

I have had the Patagonia R1Pullover now for 3 years and have to say it is a very nice layer. It is very warm, breathable and incredibly comfortable.

It is made of a neat waffle material on the inside, smooth on the outside.

It also has a favorite feature of mine, the napoleon pocket.

Laura rocks the Patagonia R1 Full Zip Jacket all the winter long.

Bottom Line: I really like this layer,  in fact I have two of them. They are really warm, breath well, and wear well. You can run these through the washing machine a ton without any risk of shrinking or falling apart. The only downside is that it is pricy at $130, but if you wait until spring you may just find it on sale, like I did.

Check out what Patagonia says:

  • Versatile R1 fleece provides excellent stretch, warmth, wicking and breathability in a variety of temperatures
  • Fleece has high/low grid on inside for enhanced compressibility, airflow, and dry time
  • Microfiber face speeds moisture-wicking and allows for easy layering
  • Off-the-shoulder seam construction reduces bulk while wearing a backpack
  • Zippered, brushed polyester mesh chest pocket
  • 6.8-oz Polartec® Power Dry® 93% polyester (41% recycled)/7% spandex
