The Mammut TR1 Headlamp is a feature packed lightweight(72g) headlamp. With the headlamp set on high it will run 25 hours and an amazing 60 hours on low. The light head swivels so you can point it where it is needed most. Don’t worry though it stays in place while trail running. The Mammut TR1 has 3 modes, high, low and blink. The low mode is so bright I often forgot to put it on high.
Note the little lever next to the light, it is a lock to keep from accidentally turning the light on and burning your batteries up while in your pack.
What is really neat about this light, is the Ambilight, which is a plastic diffuser and reflector that fit over the light for use in tent as a lantern.
It snaps over the front of the light, easy on, easy off.
