Review: North Face Hedgehog GTX XCR Trail Shoe

I have been wearing these North Face Hedgehog shoes for the better part of a year and they are really nice trail running and hiking shoes.

They have one of my favorite features, a tough wrap around toe guard, which keeps you from wearing through the toe when you kick rocks and what not out on the trail.

They have an aggressive Vibram sole, which digs in on dirt and also sticks slick wet rocks.

The Hendgehog has a Gore-Tex lining which keeps the water out, and a little bit of your own sweat in. But I have warn these year round and it never really bothered me, even on the warmest days.

These shoes have plenty of cushion and have held up to tons of use. I like these shoes so much, I’ll buy a second pair when these wear out.

I have used them running in the snow, and they kept my feeet warm and dry.
