Tonight’s ride brought to you by the letters W-E-T

It has been below freezing and the trails have been covered in snow for far too long. Today started off with an ice storm, then the sun came out and the temp hit 43°F. But once the sun set, the rain started. I am never one to miss a ride above freezing in January.

The trails were slow and slippery from melting snow and rain.

After a few hours in rain and slush I was dry and warm, I had on my Showers Pass Elite 2.0 jacket (and hood), Showers Pass Hybrid ZipOffs, Patagonia Capilene 2 top, Sugoi shorts and Shimano MW80 winter shoes.

My hands strayed dry in my OR Endeavor Mitts

You got to seize every opportunity to ride on a warm day in the winter!
