The Mountain Hardwear Winter Wander Pant is a great pair of drawls for outdoor winter activities. The pants are made of a water resistant breathable material with a micro chamois interior. They are great for all winter activities short of really deep powder.
The pants are very tough, this pair is 3 years old and gets warn constantly in the winter. I have even used them mountain biking in a pinch in the winter. They have two pockets in the front, two zippered pockets in the rear and a cargo pocket on one leg.
They also fit nicely over hiking boots and have a draw cord at the cuff to keep snow out.
They breath well, but do not mistake them for summer time pants, they are just too burly for that. They keep you warm in the winter and they are very abrasion resistant.
Mountain Hardwear gear is incredibly well made, that Mountain Hardwear fleece I am wearing is from 1998! It has seen plenty of trail time and is no worse for wear.
Designed to shed dirt, snow and water. With a touch of stretch and full inseam gusset, this durable pant keeps you comfortable on brisk winter hikes.
