I picked up this LAS Squalo Helmet in the winter. I was mostly interested in it because it has a screen over the vents to keep bugs out. See years ago I was mtn biking at Seneca Lake, and a bee flew in my helmet (a specialized sub 6 pro) and stung me on the scalp. I had a reaction. A crazy insane reaction. See back in 1996 you could glue screen over the holes in a helmet, but todays helmets have like 9,000,000 holes in them, it doesn’t work.
It has a thumb wheel in the back to adjust the fit. It works well.
And here is a shot of that netting.
And here it is on my noggin.
Not a bad day to ride in to work, eh?
I like the helmet, I’d buy it again.
