Review: Showers Pass Club Shoe Cover

I purchased a pair of Showers Pass Club Shoe Covers for commuting a few months ago and have been using them on those days when the skies are just dumping.

My shortened commute on a rainy day is about 30 minutes. These shoe covers keep my feet dry on a commute when it is pouring rain. They are not 100% waterproof. But for commuting needs they are fine. I actually just keep them permanently on a pair of shoes just for rainy days.

The sole of the shoe cover does not have any cutout for cleats, I lined up my cleats and made two holes for the bolts and attached the cleats to the outside of the sole. At first I thought this was ridiculous that it did not have cutout, but why wear a shoe cover if there is a huge hole in the sole for water to come in from?

They close with a zipper in the back and a velcro strap to keep the water out. The cover has plenty of reflective material to add visibility.

Showers Pass Says:
Waterproof nylon shoe covers keep street shoes clean and dry. Zippered side closures with hook and loop tabs for easy on/off and fit adjustability. Water–resistant, reinforced, cleat–adaptable coated nylon soles.

  • Water Resistant
  • Cleat Adaptable

  1. I've been casting about for a couple of years looking for replacements for my old Burley shoe covers. It looks like these could do the trick.

    Some questions:
    1. Construction – These are just coated nylon shells, right? No extra padding? No insulation?

    2. Fit – How's the fit? What size cover did you buy? What size shoe do you wear? And are you using a road or street shoe?

    Thanks. Keep the rubber-side down.
