They ice has come… It was a sketchy ride home. Maybe I should have taken the bus.
In an effort to curb my wussiness and ride the bike I picked up a pair of Kenda Klondike ice tires. They look good, weigh a ton and have studs.
Anyhow here is the Kenda Klondike 35c tire against the Hutchinson 32c pro cross tires.
They didn’t fit through the rear chainstays on the Planet X Kaffenback. Actually they fit the chainstays, but then hit the SKS fenders at the chain stay arch right behind the bottom bracket.
Maybe I’ll drive when it snows… probably not though.
