I don’t say this often, but I’ve found the perfect camera hip pack. Everything else I have used to date just seems clunky and antiquated compared to this. This pack shines holding a camera on your bike ride or hike. What sets sit apart is the built in foam and structure
Now if you are like me you have purchased a few fanny packs and put a camera insert in the bag. And if you are like me you are annoyed out how difficult it ends up being to get the camera in and out. Have an integrated design like the Evoc solves this.
Using this bag to take pics is just as fast as using my Mindshift Gear packs. Let’s be honest, if your camera takes too long to get out you will not use it and then you are just carrying extra weight around with you. This bag solves that problem.
The outside has a front pocket for, well not much, I guess extra cards, but who would carry them on a bike ride in a fanny pack? The only drawback of this pack is this weird little pocket. But alas, we shall move on to all the good features.
The bottom hides a rain cover and a tripod holder. Although I hold my RRS table top tripod in the side pocket.
The back has ample padding and keeps the camera from digging into your back.
The inside has 3 dividers. When I carry my Leica Q2 I have plenty of room inside for a Patagonia Houdini wind breaker and extra batteries. When I use my Olympus OMD-EM1 MK3 I can carry an extra lens and batteries.
Seriously I have been using this for a solid year and it is great. I have a two hour loop behind my house and use this 5 or 6 days a week.
