So today it was 20 degrees out when I left for work at 6:45am. I was comfy the whole ride.
Sure I bundled up like I was climbing everest, well I guess climbing everest in bike gear!
To stay warm I had on pearl shorts, leg warmers, wind pants, short sleeve tech shirt, long sleeve pearl izum fleece, Castelli Ares jacket, balaclava, OR Mitts and of course the Diadora Chili Extremes with DeFeet blaze socks. For the 30 minute ride I was totally fine. No cars on the road either.
I have to admit I use more blinky lights on days like this, no one expects you out there. I am going sweat my balls off on the way home, its 45 out now.
