Park PCS-10 Bike stand. – good stuff

I have a detached garage, it got really really cold this winter. I have a bench mount Park stand, it is great. Super sturdy, convenient to my garage… However the cold this winter was too much. I was tired of being numb working on my bike. So I hooked myself up and got the Park PCS-10 work stand. I got mine from REI
What really sets the Park stands apart is there clamp. You get get some cheap ultimate directions or topeak stand, but frankly the bike is going to spin around in it and you’ll get frustrated as you are turning the pedals and the bike is spinning around like a top. For $149 (usually less on sale) you can get this park.
It will take the Park tool tray which is handy to keep your tools close.

It clamps on my cross/road/commuter/mtn bikes without any fuss and makes repair so much easier.

I always want to warn people in the store not to buy that cheap bike stand when they see it, they won’t use it.. Anyhow bottom line, if you like to work on your bike get a nice park stand and you’ll be happy, this PCS-10 is a great choice.

  1. I know you posted this review more than a year ago, but I still appreciate it. I was vacillating on whether to get a bench-mount work stand with a high quality clamp and build my own base, or to buy a folding stand.

    Imma gettin me a PCS-10!

  2. This blog post is even older for me, but this is still a valuable review.

I just pulled the trigger on this stand. It will be a Valentine's Day gift for my boyfriend. He loves to tinker on our bikes and I'm sure it will work better and be more secure than throwing a rope over a rafter in the garage.

    Keep the rubber side down.
