I rode the Cheat Mountain Challenge in Snowshoe West Virginia over the weekend. It was a blast.
It was 80 miles of the sweetest roads you have ever ridden on. Great climbs (8500 feet!) with aid stations galore, stocked with the friendliest people you will ever meet.
We camped at the most expensive camp site ever ($20/person/night).
But they had free firewood.
It starts at a leisurely 8:00am and they give you a free pass to use the showers at the resort pool afterwards, which was worth it’s weight in gold…
Do it, its really fun.
