The ride in was nice, what with No diggity and all, but the ride home was in wet heavy slippery snow.
I have the Nokian Mount and Ground 26″ studs on my bike and they gripped really well. I was wearing Showers Pass Club Convertible Pants, eVent Elite 2.0 Jacket, Patagonia Neck Gaiter, Oudoor Research Glove System , and some other stuff. I stayed warm, but god damn I wanted to get home.
Check out these two pics taken by my wife with our new 35mm f1.8 Nikon DX lens.
And my clothes and what not stayed dry in my SealLine Urban Backpack.
So I guess if you have the right gear its never too bad to go ride… just not for that long!
dude, 1. ride today on the streets of the city = awesome. On nokian extremes I'm riding around and everyone in cars is like "what, I can't even drive".
2. your a traitor. Work is boring. I have no one to talk to or bother at random points in the day. And going to lunch with people is even harder to do now.
3. your blog is going downhill when you review a damn moleskin folder
Why you gotta hate on me Aaron?
Are you riding in tomorrow?
Man you should come over and visit, I have sun light in my office. Ordered a new macbook 13", bring my bike in… The grass truly is greener on the other side.
