Preparing for a wamer day

I know we are in still in winters cold grasp but  I set up my hardtail for the bikepacking trip I am going to take in the spring.

I put on a stout rear rack, the Jandd Expedition Rear Rack, which can carry up to 75 pounds. And this rack is great for use on mountain or cross bikes since it pushes the rack back further and allows you to mount the panniers further back, avoiding heel interference.

Also since my frame has its eyelets low on the drop outs, right where the disc brake is, I used the Jandd Disc Brake Adapter.

And for carrying my gear on the trip I am using Jandd’s Mountain Pannier

I have some Jandd Pannier Covers  for when it rains, and it will. I am psyched to spend a few days on the Great Allegheny Passage again. I put all my Jandd touring gear on so I can make a break for it as soon as the trails melt out.
Dreaming of warmer days…
