We always take our dog with us on hikes, and pretty much everywhere to be honest. We have tried a ton of different dog bowls, packable dog bowls, tupper ware, etc and none of them worked well.
But we saw this Sea-to-Summit X-Bowl and it looked perfect. While it is not made for dogs, but for people – our lab doesn’t seem to mind. We have been using it for the past few months and it is pretty much perfect.
It basically has two key features, it folds almost totally flat.
And because of the rubber construction, it does not absorb any water, which is where all the other folding nylon dog specific bowls fail. They end up getting your bag all wet when you are done feeding your pooch.
