Review: Giro Westerly Wool Gloves

The Giro Westerly Wool Glove is a heavy weight liner glove, which I happen to like quite a bit despite it’s one flaw. I picked them up to wear under mittens on cold days and they really extend the comfort zone of mittens.

The nicest thing about them is the grippy texture on the palm.

For liner gloves they are really warm and I like that I can control all the fiddly bits on my camera with them on. Although after a week of use the wrist cuff stretched out and never returned to normal.

What is very cool, Giro warrantied them, but unfortunately had no more in stock. So I’ll have a new pair of Giro Blaze gloves to review soon.

Giro says:
The natural comfort and insulating properties of wool shaped into a glove that works well by itself or as an interior liner when temps dip to freezing. The Westerly Wool is an all-around glove that features a wool body with a light fleece lining to take the edge off of cool conditions. The silicone detailing on the palm enhances grip too, making it perfect for riding, hanging around the campfire or anytime you want a little extra coverage.
