Everyone knows if you carry a camera but can’t access it you are not going to take as many pics as you should on your adventure. So why not keep your camera handy in the Chicken Tramper Ultralight Gear (CTUG) custom camera bag? I really like this little bag and find myself taking way more pictures especially in the winter when I had a larger pack on.
They make the bags custom for your camera/lens combo and the pack you want to attach it to. I opted for the waist belt model to fit my ULA backpacking bag. It fits my Olympus OMD-EM1 MK3 with 12-40 lens on it snugly but not tight. It fits also on the waist belt of my Mountain Smith pack fine. I use a small piece of cord through the daisy chain on the side to keep it from traveling around when the trail gets rough.
The bag is made out of X-PAC with very light padding of mesh with and a single inside pocket for a battery or SD card. Since the pack is being worn on your waist I find the minimal padding to be more than enough.
The adjustable straps fit over waist belts of most sizes and they can custom make it if you want it for just one pack.
I like this camera bag so much that I purchased the same in the shoulder strap mount and a CTUG 25 pack to match. If you are in the market for a camera bag check this CTUG Custom Camera Bag out.

This custom sized camera bag can be modified to strap to most backpacks either on the shoulder strap, hip belt or across your chest. This method of carrying a camera is comfortable, keeps it in reach and protects your camera more than market alternatives. It is made from waterproof X-pac and a water resistant zipper to help keep your camera safe from dust or a light rain.
