Review: Burley Flatbed Trailer

I have owned the Burley Nomad trailer for years now. I really like it. I use it for trips around town, touring, etc. Which is why when it came time to get a trailer to leave at the beach I now also own a Burley Flatbed trailer.

When we go on vacation we try to go car free. I have nothing against cars, in fact I think they are awesome and drive one everyday to work. But when I’m not at home…  I wanted something to carry groceries, beach chairs, anything I wanted to carry really.

With a flat cart and two straps to hold your cargo down you can fit anything. For your grocery hauling you need to use those reusable bags, a cooler or something to keep everything in the cart. That is a bit easier task for the Nomad since it has sides and a top. But In a crazy sandy place like the beach this is a better choice.

The Burley Flatbed excels at those weird odd loads. For instance beach chairs, a cooler, bags and an umbrella.

The flatbed folds flat easily, with quick release wheels, snap in sides and a foldable attachment arm.

It attaches with an aluminum mount that fits on qr or bolt on wheels. And goes on and off in about 10 seconds.

The flatbed has two built in D-Rings and includes two straps for tying down your load.

So if you need a do it all trailer look no further than the Burley Flatbed. I am really psyched on Burley products, you won’t be disappointed.
