Review: Klean Kanteen Vaccum Insulated Bottle

It’s getting cold up here in the mountains. I have been making my long days in the cold a lot more bearable by bringing along the Klean Kanteen Vacuum Insulated Bottle. I fill it up with warm tea and it lasts for hours and hours. In fact I have to put a bit of cold water in the tea so it will be cool enough for me to drink!

I like this little bottle so much I have been using it on my drive to work in the morning. You can buy the Klean Kanteen Cafe Cap which turns it in to a mug. They point out it is no longer water tight with the Cafe Cap on. Which is true because it drips if you knock it over with the Cafe Cap on.

With the water tight cap the Klean Kanteen comes with I have never had it leak in my bag and have loved having a warm drink while out on a cold trail. Actually one of the best parts was warming up my hands while drinking tea on a recent mountaineering day.

With a stainless steel interior and stainless cap you can go from cold ice water in the summer to hot tea in the winter and not leave any tastes behind. I’m psyched on the Klean Kanteen!
