Review Lezyne Alloy Drive Pump

Do you not have a pump or need a new pump? You totally do and you should buy the Lezyne Alloy Drive Pump. It is the best mini pump ever. We’ve all been there,  you get a flat and 400 pumps latter you snap off the presta valve. The Lezyne Alloy Drive has a removable tube similar to a floor pump that not only prevents you from breaking off presta valves but also alloys you to get a secure connection on shorter valve stems.

Stored away in the handle of the all aluminum Alloy Drive is the tube.
One side is schraeder and the other presta. The presta side features a pressure release valve to bleed pressure or prevent air from spilling out when disconnecting the tube.
You screw the tube in the opposite end of the handle and then attach to the valve. Or the other way around, really whatever is easier for you.
The Alloy Drive is so nice, it also delivers a ton of air per stroke so you can fill your tires up faster. I have used this on CX and MTB tubes now and love it.
I previously had a favorite pump, but on a group ride the other night there were 3 flats and one 38mm tube that would not let my mini pump fit on. I tried a valve extender, but that failed. My buddy whipped this out of his bag and the tube filled in like 30 seconds. AMAZING!
This was the last time I used my old pump. The Lezyne Alloy Drive is great. You should buy one, I have been using the Micro Drive on my fat bike for 2 years and this is the same high quality as all other Lezyne gear.
The Lezyne Alloy Drive is a compact high volume hand pump made of custom CNC machined aluminum for precise and lightweight construction. The HV design easily inflates tires to riding pressure with fewer strokes. The overlapping handle and barrel, with oversized piston and shaft, are integrated into a compact design. It comes equipped with Lezyne’s ABS Flex Hose, which has a threaded Presta connection with ABS on one side and a threaded Shrader connection on the other.
