The Scarpa Crux is so nice I bought it twice. That is not exactly true; once I bought them, my wife heard me rave about them, so she bought a pair too. The Scarpa Crux is a light hiking shoe with a climbing shoe’s DNA. It has a Vibram sticky rubber sole that makes it a king of traction on rocks and talus. <\/p>\n

The upper is Suede with climbing shoe style lacing for a perfect fit.<\/p>\n

A big wrap around rubber rand gives you extra grip when hitting a rocky summit and keeps your toes dry on wet days. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The sticky rubber Vibram sole is the secret sauce of the Crux. It’s ability to grip on wet and dry rocks lets you move fast on the trail. <\/div>\n

If you happen to ride flat pedals on your bike, the Crux sticks to the pedals incredibly well. <\/div>\n

Once on route, the climbing zone under the toes keeps us relaxed and happy. Kevlar\u00ae webbing on the natural suede upper retains its shape and to-the-toe lacing lets us customize the fit while on the move.
