It was a blast.<\/p>\n<p>It was 80 miles of the sweetest roads you have ever ridden on. Great climbs (8500 feet!) with aid stations galore, stocked with the friendliest people you will ever meet.<\/p>\n<p>We camped at the most expensive camp site ever ($20\/person\/night).<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_Jz4f840sc_c\/RsnQtiIWIXI\/AAAAAAAAATo\/n7mF3r47A1Y\/s1600-h\/DSC_2367.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_Jz4f840sc_c\/RsnQtiIWIXI\/AAAAAAAAATo\/n7mF3r47A1Y\/s320\/DSC_2367.JPG\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5100837533648298354\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>But they had free firewood.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_Jz4f840sc_c\/RsnQtyIWIYI\/AAAAAAAAATw\/pZEploUZ-pc\/s1600-h\/DSC_2372.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_Jz4f840sc_c\/RsnQtyIWIYI\/AAAAAAAAATw\/pZEploUZ-pc\/s320\/DSC_2372.JPG\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5100837537943265666\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>It starts at a leisurely 8:00am and they give you a free pass to use the showers at the resort pool afterwards, which was worth it&#8217;s weight in gold&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Do it, its really fun.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I rode the Cheat Mountain Challenge in Snowshoe West Virginia over the weekend.
