It really is an easy city to ride in if you are visiting for work. I stayed in the Westin Arlington Gateway, which was 2 blocks from 2 different bike paths.<\/p>\n<p>The weather was so nice, I rode before work and after work. The Custis trail goes west next to a stream the whole way. You can jut off on short singletrack too&#8230;. very short, but dirt is dirt.<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_Jz4f840sc_c\/R9MffsJn9eI\/AAAAAAAAAoE\/_sfTdCLF9MM\/s1600-h\/IMGP3035.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_Jz4f840sc_c\/R9MffsJn9eI\/AAAAAAAAAoE\/_sfTdCLF9MM\/s400\/IMGP3035.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>The trail  in the morning  was pretty empty. <a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_Jz4f840sc_c\/R9MfgMJn9fI\/AAAAAAAAAoM\/waeI9iGNCXs\/s1600-h\/IMGP3037.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_Jz4f840sc_c\/R9MfgMJn9fI\/AAAAAAAAAoM\/waeI9iGNCXs\/s400\/IMGP3037.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>And you had to do one pretty deep stream crossing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_Jz4f840sc_c\/R9MfgcJn9gI\/AAAAAAAAAoU\/mK8tJy0f7-4\/s1600-h\/IMGP3039.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_Jz4f840sc_c\/R9MfgcJn9gI\/AAAAAAAAAoU\/mK8tJy0f7-4\/s400\/IMGP3039.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>The hotel was nice, the gym was nice, 1 bike, 1 elliptical and 5 treadmills. Two benches and weights&#8230; The room was nice, had a big flat panel tv, nice view, wireless and wired internet.
