It was a blast, it was my first CX race in two years since leaving the PRB (people republic of boulder). It rained the whole race. I had broken my chain in a training ride, so I replaced it and the cassette last week. IT worked perfectly. The cassette, derailleur and pedals were COVERED in grass and mud. It never miss-shifted. XTR is totally worth it. <\/p>\n<p>Also I had hella&#8217; muddy shoes and the Cranks Bros pedals never gave me a problem engaging so that is awesome. <\/p>\n<p>I am out of retirement&#8230; <\/p>\n<p>-Joe<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I raced the Phelps School CX race in Malvern this past weekend.
