The bike is much lighter and livelier. I guess the last few weeks of rain wore those guys out. But I was completely apathetic to it, I just assumed it was a result of dirty rims and my ill-founded dismal of cantilever brakes.<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_Jz4f840sc_c\/Sbe1BdaPXHI\/AAAAAAAABlg\/RHB18ATq7g8\/s1600-h\/100_3738.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_Jz4f840sc_c\/Sbe1BdaPXHI\/AAAAAAAABlg\/RHB18ATq7g8\/s400\/100_3738.JPG\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5311913322185972850\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>For some reason my Paul&#8217;s Touring brakes did not come to with cartridge pads. I have no idea why. Cartridge pads make brake pad changing a one minute operation. Once you set up proper toe-in and alignment you never need to mess with it again.
