I really like the 85 lumen model as I discussed here. Last year I sold my commuter that had a dynamo hub and wanted a nice light for commuting.

The Vega 200 recharges in 2 hours, runs 2 hours on full blast, 4 hours @ 100 lumens,, 8 hours @ 50, and 24 hours on blink.

Some of the nice features are the charging indicator, quick on and off with the mount and the incredibly bright output. You could mtn bike with this at night.

The only complaint I have is the mount, it is a rubber strap with notches in it. You really have to yard on it to get it tight enough not to move around. Really, I mean pull it way tighter than you would think is ok, then its tight enough.

I’d avoid the Vega 120. I bought it by mistake, it charged in 8 hours, and did not have a blink mode.

Overall I am really happy with this light and would recommend the Vega 200 to anyone looking for a super bright commuting light.

Light and Motion Says:

Not Just More Light, Better Light

Designing a better light system isn’t just about adding MORE light, but rather, putting clean, even light where you need it.
