I have had a bunch of mini pumps, and most of them are mediocre bordering on bad. I needed a new pump so we picked up this Specialized Air Tool Mini.<\/p>\n

It is 7.5″ long x .5″ wide when closed. It locks closed with a small tab.<\/p>\n

The head switches from presta to schrader easily. I have pumped up a dozen tires with it so far. It is no worse for wear. To pump a road tire up to 80 psi takes a lot of strokes\/pumps, but it gets there.<\/p>\n

The best thing about this pump is the handle. It has a cap that unscrews.<\/p>\n

Inside is storage for glueless patches, in fact it includes 2.<\/p>\n

I did not even know it had that little stash spot. After getting back from my LBS I noticed it was missing the cap. I emailed specialized support and they had sent me a new cap that day. Which is great, most companies would want you to send  back your pump, then they’d throw it out, and send you a new pump. Specialized is good people in my book!<\/p>\n

I would recommend this to anyone who wants a small light pump capable of pumping up a road tire. <\/p>\n
