Jandd sells accessory straps to use with it, I wish I had ordered some. I used some old webbing I had instead but I’ll order the straps from Jandd.

Jandd never stops thinking, the top pocket has the zipper on the top, so if you happen to forget to close it, what is inside is less likely to fall out. And like everything else on the Kletter, the zipper is super burly.

Jandd does something you just don’t see in other bags at this price range, the shoulder straps come in 4 sizes. Their Cloud 9 Shoulder Straps are cut anatomically and are very nicely padded.

The Kletter also has a 1/2″ padded foam back.

The Cloud 9 shoulder straps include a sternum strap and feature interchangeable attachments for things like D-rings or a hydration pack hose. All of the materials used are top notch and so is the construction. Jandd uses tons of bartacks and quality hardware. You can tell this pack is built to last when you first shoulder the Kletter.

You can carry a ton of gear in this bag, it fits just as well fully loaded as when carrying just a few things. Here is another shot of it from the side for reference.

Bottom Line
The Jandd Kletter is perfect for day hikes in the winter, or carrying extra gear on long days in the summer. It’s classic design holds gear well and the plethora of attachment points makes carrying all the gear you need a snap. The Cloud 9 straps are comfortable and provide a great fit. Jandd uses quality materials and builds its gear to last. They stand behind that with a lifetime warranty, which you will never need to use anyhow!

Jandd says:

Volume: 2263 ci/37 ltr

Dimensions: 22 x 12.5 x 6.5 (in)

56 x 32 x 17 (cm)

Weight: 27.2 oz/770 g

Material: Dupont Cordura®

More information can be found here: http://www.jandd.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=FTK

The Jandd Kletter Backpack is a medium size day pack packed with tons of features.
