I have been getting a lot of questions lately about what kind of camera gear I use for the pics on robonza. I use a Canon S95 and most importantly an Ultrapod 1 Tripod. The reason I like the Ultrapod is that it is so compact, lightweight, well made and also incredibly stable.<\/p>\n

It folds up in to a small pocketable size.<\/p>\n

As the name suggests it has 3 folding legs, each with rubber tips that keep it form sliding on odd surfaces, like a tree stump… And with its unique triangular shape coupled with its velcro strap you can attach it to a tree for photos.<\/p>\n

The Ultrapod will attach to any camera with a threaded tripod mount, and the camera never slips around because the mounting plate is covered with cork.<\/p>\n

I have been carrying this in my backpack every hike or bike ride for the last 10 years and it has not worn out. If I am reviewing bike parts and stopping to take a lot of pictures, I’ll even attach it to my stem for quick access.<\/p>\n

My camera is a Canon S95, which is very nice because the self timer is adjustable up to 30 seconds with multiple pictures.<\/p>\n

I would definitely get this over any of the other compact tripod out there.  <\/p>\n
