Arcteryx is brand you know will make good gear. During the winter I picked up some Arcteryx Gamma AR pants <\/a> and they were just super great. But the desert in the spring is a hot place, and when that sun is pounding you need a lighter pair of drawls. So I picked up the Arcteryx Gamma LT pants. The Gamma LT is a lighter weight softshell which can stand up to desert scrambling.<\/p>\n

The pants provide are stretchy and have no back pockets which is a good thing, two waist and one small slash pocket.<\/p>\n

They have a built in belt which works just fine and is very low profile, you don’t notice it under a backpack belt or a climbing harness.<\/p>\n
