I recently picked up a pair of Red Chili Durango climbing shoes. Previously I had two pair of slip-ons I used for bouldering. But those kicks had been resoled 2x each. Not to mention that the smell had gotten to be too much for me. Plus those slip-ons were incredibly uncomfortable. Not because of anything related to the shoes, but because I bought 1 or 2 sizes down, as was the style at the time.<\/p>\n

 Red Chili calls the Durango an all day shoes and they are certainly comfortable without giving up performance.<\/p>\n

The shoes feature an isometric last for improved fit and grip.<\/p>\n

They Durango has full length laces so you can dial in the fit (for me loose in the toes, tight in the heel, not that you cared).<\/p>\n

And a great feature, they have dual pull loops on the back. Nothing sucks more than putting on a climbing shoe when one has torn…<\/p>\n

They are considered a beginner shoe, but they feel and work like all the other climbing shoes I have used. They are a nice price at only $89. (Neptune Mountaineering has them on sale right now).
