And by a bunch, I mean more than one. Only 6 people read this anyhow, so that is like 17%. So without further ado, here you go.<\/p>\n<p><b><u>Tire Pressure<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-aZ_ru4DjFNE\/UPN_VXIoaZI\/AAAAAAAASTA\/DK26agrRBj0\/s1600\/P1130089.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-aZ_ru4DjFNE\/UPN_VXIoaZI\/AAAAAAAASTA\/DK26agrRBj0\/s1600\/P1130089.jpg\" height=\"480\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div>One of the best part about the fat bike is the large low volume tires. To get the most out of them you have to run low pressure, I use 4-5 in most conditions and 8 in the summer. The <a href=\"http:\/\/robonza.blogspot.com\/2013\/01\/accugage-low-pressure-presta-tire-gauge.html?q=gauge\">Accu-Gage Low Pressure Tire Gauge<\/a> is what you need to get your pressure dialed in.<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b><u>Warm Hands<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n<div>I can say this without any exaggeration; half the reason I like fat biking so much is that you don&#8217;t have to wear bike racer clothing. Wearing outdoor gear can make you stay warm. The end all-be all of warm hands are the<a href=\"http:\/\/robonza.blogspot.com\/2013\/02\/review-dogwood-designs-pogies-plus.html\"> Dogwood Designs Pogies<\/a>&nbsp;Plus. I can&#8217;t tell you how much money I have spent on winter cycling gloves that have left me with numb hands. Never once has that happened with the Pogies.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-lx5v3euiHKs\/UQ3xR9QmiDI\/AAAAAAAAK78\/nwlhEKmz0jA\/s1600\/P2020030.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-lx5v3euiHKs\/UQ3xR9QmiDI\/AAAAAAAAK78\/nwlhEKmz0jA\/s1600\/P2020030.jpg\" height=\"480\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The pogies are too warm if it is above 30\u00b0, so I wear mitts like the <a href=\"http:\/\/robonza.blogspot.com\/2013\/11\/review-hestra-army-leather-heli-ski.html\">Hestra Army Glove<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/robonza.blogspot.com\/2012\/12\/review-montbell-down-mittens.html\">Montbell Down Mitts<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><b><u>Warm Feet<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n<div>Now if you ride clipless just go out now and order a pair of<a href=\"http:\/\/robonza.blogspot.com\/2014\/01\/review-forty-below-overflow-gaiters.html\"> 40 Below Overflow Supergaiters.<\/a> I&#8217;m not joking, these are great. You glue them on top of your winter shoes and bring it to a whole new level of warmth and dry.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-teKcby1wt14\/UtHz0gLhC_I\/AAAAAAAAPZY\/Azffj8HKh-c\/s1600\/P1110406.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-teKcby1wt14\/UtHz0gLhC_I\/AAAAAAAAPZY\/Azffj8HKh-c\/s1600\/P1110406.jpg\" height=\"480\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n<div>I have never had warm feet while clipped in before and it&#8217;s great.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>If you ride with flats go for an insulated boot. If you have to deal with crazy cold get a pair of Baffin Shackletons. I ride with them all the time. in the winter I&#8217;ll wear <a href=\"http:\/\/robonza.blogspot.com\/search?q=roscoe\">Roscoe Outdoor Washakie or Hellroaring pants<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-vBySqhFdGw0\/VG0JA_16tmI\/AAAAAAAATpI\/iT5NIv1Mh-g\/s1600\/PB190183.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-vBySqhFdGw0\/VG0JA_16tmI\/AAAAAAAATpI\/iT5NIv1Mh-g\/s1600\/PB190183.jpg\" height=\"640\" width=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>When it gets really cold I wear bibs. The <a href=\"http:\/\/robonza.blogspot.com\/2014\/03\/review-montbell-hydro-breeze-insulated.html\">Montbell Hydro Breeze Insulated<\/a>&nbsp;is essential when you want to stay warm in negative temps.<\/p>\n<p><b><u>Head and Neck<\/u><\/b><br \/>You have got to keep your face and ears warm in the winter. I have to say it, winter cycling caps are not good. They always move around and your ears end up exposed and frozen. I like the Kuhl Alf hat or the Smartwool beanie.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-_vJHzDMXqXU\/T8Q4g4ha6AI\/AAAAAAAAFfg\/NbzBNhnBuuc\/s1600\/IMG_6334.JPG\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-_vJHzDMXqXU\/T8Q4g4ha6AI\/AAAAAAAAFfg\/NbzBNhnBuuc\/s1600\/IMG_6334.JPG\" height=\"480\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>And as I have told all y&#8217;all. I love a neck gaiter. Anything fleece from Patagonia or Montbell will do the trick. The Buff is nice on a mild day.<\/p>\n<p><b><u>Layers<\/u><\/b><br \/>I layer on the fat bike. I am a huge fan of riding in a long slave base layer like a Patagonia Capilene zip or similar with a fleece vest over top for temp control on the climbs. I always keep a down vest in my bad for the descents.
