Just before Thanksgiving I snuck out for a short trip up to Ouzel Lake in RMNP. The plan was Bluebird lake, but the winter gate was closed and you have to walk on that road.<\/p>\n

The trail was snowy with a bit of ice, but the sun was shining.<\/p>\n

The clouds and snow started to come in.<\/p>\n

The lake was pretty frozen.<\/p>\n

Awesome spot to camp.<\/p>\n

Spacious accommodations. <\/p>\n

The sky was absolutely amazing.<\/p>\n

Then the hike out the next day was clear and sunny.<\/p>\n
